Must have accessories?

Hello Everyone! I finally got my first honda civic! It’s a 2026 hatch hybrid ST (black int/ext). I’m looking for recommendations for accessories and must haves. I’m thinking like dash cam (!!), cargos, storages, etc. please include brands, where to get, installment difficulty, and whatnot.

Thank you!!!

If you’re starting fresh, these are the “buy once, cry once” accessories I’d recommend for a 2026 Civic Hatch Hybrid ST. Everything below is practical and actually improves daily driving.

1) Dash Cam (Front + Rear)
VIOFO A229 Plus — Great day/night quality, dual STARVIS 2 sensors, and parking mode support if you hardwire it.
Buy VIOFO A229 Plus (Affiliate)
Install difficulty: Easy → Medium (hardwire kit makes it medium)
2) All-Weather Floor + Cargo Protection
HAFIDI All-Weather Floor Mats & Cargo Liner — Custom fit, doesn’t slide around, easy to clean.
Buy HAFIDI Mats (Affiliate)
Install difficulty: Easy (drop-in)
3) Console Organization
TTCR-II Center Console Organizer Tray — Fixes the “black hole” console problem instantly.
Buy TTCR-II Organizer (Affiliate)
Install difficulty: Easy (drop-in)
4) Armrest Protection + Comfort
CKE Center Console Armrest Cover — Protects from wear + adds cushion (especially on long drives).
Buy CKE Armrest Cover (Affiliate)
Install difficulty: Easy (strap/fit-on)
5) Small Stuff That Makes Life Easier
Cup holder & console liners — stops rattles + makes cleaning 10x easier.
Buy Cup Holder Liners (Affiliate)
Install difficulty: Easy
Honestly, if you buy just these 5 things first, your Civic will feel “fully set up”.

+1 on the console organizer tray. I thought it was a “cheap accessory” but it actually makes the car feel way more premium. No more digging around for coins/keys.

For the VIOFO hardwire: it’s not hard, just time-consuming. If you don’t want to mess with fuse taps, plug-in is fine and still works great.

If you’re getting mats, don’t skip the cargo liner. The hatch area gets destroyed fast if you ever carry groceries, boxes, or anything with dirt. Those HAFIDI mats are solid and way easier to clean than carpet.

Also the cup holder liners are one of those things you only notice when you DON’T have them.

Facts. I spilled coffee once and never again. Liners + all-weather mats = stress-free ownership.

The TTCR-II organizer tray is one of the best “daily-use” mods. Doesn’t look like an aftermarket add-on either. It just makes the center console finally usable.

Dash cam should be your first purchase no matter what. People drive crazy and the Civic is popular enough that it gets targeted sometimes too. The VIOFO A229 Plus is a really safe pick.

Pro tip: mount it high behind the mirror so it’s not in your line of sight.

Parking mode is worth it if you park outside a lot. Even if you don’t hardwire today, get the cam now and upgrade later.

The CKE armrest cover is surprisingly good. Especially if you drive a lot or rest your elbow there. The OEM material starts looking worn pretty quickly on high-touch spots.

Not really an “accessory” but if you ever want the car to feel more refined: sound deadening in doors + trunk makes a big difference. Less road noise, fewer rattles, and your audio system will sound better too.

It’s more of a weekend project though.

Agree. If someone wants “OEM+ feel”, sound deadening is the move. Just take your time removing door panels so you don’t break clips.
